Right back to the sea is the first track from my debut album “H.E.R - Hiding Every Reminder” and it centres around the themes of relationships, safety and trust.

This track in particular focuses on the fear of commitment after the abandonment of a parent. It suggests that the safest place is home, and yet home is the root of the damage experienced within the story of the song.

The continual battle of having to be strong, versus being vulnerable and having the ability to be loved. I wanted to write the song for everyone that thinks they need to go this world alone, this one is for you. Find that safe place, trust unapologetically and don’t swim alone 💙
